My Favorite Shoes In My Closet

It's no secret that I have a shoe obsession, and I'm pretty sure I get it from my mom.

In high school, one of my best friends introduced me to the brand Golden Goose, based in Italy. I saved up enough money to buy my first pair my junior year of high school and my mom gave me such a hard time because, yes they are expensive, but also because she said they looked dirty. Of course I told her, "Mom that's the look!!!" Well she now loves the ones I got and asked me for about a year straight if she could buy them off of me, until we finally got her a pair of her own, and she then bought another pair. I think they are super comfortable, and also really cool and stylish. The second pair I got, the Cheetah Mid Star (top middle pair), was when I went to Europe for spring break my senior year in high school. I first saw them in Amsterdam, but since we were traveling to Pairs after, I decided to get them there. Then finally, I got my last pair with the pink laces for Christmas this year, I wanted the Purestar ones with the silver sparkly heel, but then went into the Intermix store and tried these on and fell in love. www.goldengoose.com

The white high tops are the Chloe Kyle Semi-shiny Calf Leather Buckle Sneakers In White. These shoes are so cute and I absolutely love them. They are from an older season, but I was able to get them for Christmas off of Saks Off Fifth for a good price. You may still be able to find them, for example, I walked into a Chloe Outlet store in Palm Springs and saw them there, and they are available on some websites. Such as this one: Modesens

So yes, I kinda have a problem with buying white sneakers.

Growing up in Southern California, I never really had much need for boots. When I got to Indiana University, I suddenly had an increase in the amount of boots I owned. One of these was the Dr. Martens Black 2976 Quad Platform Chelsea Boots. I decided to break them in on my fall break trip to Chicago, probably not the best idea, but they are super cute and I always love a good platform to make me look a little taller ;)

I recently got my new pair of slippers when my mom came to visit me for my sorority's mom's weekend. We stayed in Indianapolis for a night and went shopping the next day and I found these super cool slippers. The brand is Emu and they have so many other cool designs.

I think that the Gucci Princeton Leather Slipper is classic and a good shoe to wear all year round. It's also good for those days where you have to dress a little more professional but still want to be comfortable. I just love the overall look.

Okay, so the Valentino Rock stud Sandal Slides are not mine, they are my mom's. I just LOVE them. I am all about a good easy slide to wear in the summer, especially since I have moved away from the usual ankle strap sandals.

Lastly, are the Stuart Weitzman Slide Sandals with a small block heel that I picked up at the outlet stores in Palm Springs. I got these at a pretty good price and they are nice because I'm not the kind of person to wear a really high heel (really just because I can't walk in them). There are definitely a lot of shoes like these out there on the market, and I definitely recommend picking up a pair because they are so versatile and great for non-heel wearers such as myself.
