My Favorite Spots in Orange County

Updated: Mar 23, 2020

1) Outpost Kitchen

My favorite Australian breakfast place. I recommend their avocado toast with a poached egg, the gluten-free pancakes, or a smoothie.

1792 Monrovia Ave

Costa Mesa, CA 92627

2) Trenta

Their gluten-free truffle pizza is amazing. Water polo coaches from Italy opened this spot up, and they know how to make some great Italian food.

1661 Superior Ave

Unit D

Costa Mesa, CA 92627

3) Doll Boutique and Gifts

My favorite boutique store in Orange County. With cute matching sets, dresses, skirts, tops, sweaters and even jewelry and unique gifts to get friends.

270 E 17th St.

Unit 5

Costa Mesa, CA 92627

4) Lido Marina Village

I love to come here and get brunch, lunch, or dinner with my friends and then walk around and look at the shops. There's Planet Blue, Le Labo, and Jolie to name a few.

3434 Via Lido

Newport Beach, CA 92663

5) Dad's Donut and Bakery Shop

Some of the best dessert and so fun to come here on weekends! The hippo cookies, chocolate dipped bananas, and Balboa bars with oreos are my favorites.

318 Marine Ave

Newport Beach, CA 92662

6) Bonzai Bowls

The Maui Sunrise bowl is my favorite. This is where I had my first ever açaí bowl and instantly fell in love.

There are multiple locations, but this is the one I primarily go to:

488 E 17th St

Costa Mesa, CA 92627

7) Eat Chow

The best parmesan truffle fries are here. Also love the brunch, avocado toast for the win.

211 62nd St

Newport Beach, CA 92663

8) Coffee Dose at East Eighteenth

My dad and I always go here after we workout across the street at Crossfit Chalk at 7 am. I get my iced matcha latte with oat milk and sometimes even a small little gluten-free, dairy-free treat.

116 E 18th St

Costa Mesa, CA 92627

9) Shirleys Bagels

The BEST bagels in the entire world. Their cream cheese is not like any other and is perfection. I get a plain bagel toasted with lightly-spreader cream cheese, avocado on top, and salt and pepper or garlic salt sprinkled all over.

270 E 17th St

Costa Mesa, Ca 92627

10) Haute Cakes

I love coming here with my friends to catch up or before my hair cut at SOHO salon across the way. The All American Scramble with no cheese, gluten-free bread, and fruit substituted for potatoes is my go-to order.

1807 Westcliff Dr

Newport Beach, CA 92660

11) Zinc Cafe in CDM

They have some of my favorite brunch in all of Orange County. They have a really delicious healthy breakfast bowl and for the days when I'm feeling for something a little less healthy, I love their bagel sandwich.

3222 E Coast Hwy

Corona Del Mar, CA 92625

12) Sidecar Donuts

They have amazing gluten-free donuts and just great donuts in general. They are pretty popular and there is usually a line.

270 E 17th St

Unit 18

Costa Mesa, CA 92627

13) Vacancy Coffee

I love going on walks in the morning with my family and dogs and then coming here for some coffee!

6480 W Coast Hwy

Newport Beach, CA 92663

14) Roasting Waters

Boba! I used to come here all the time in between school and water polo practices. I love the peach tea, herbal, with boba and lychee bits. Also each time we go they have different glass bottles that are fun to keep.

11707 Edinger Ave

Fountain Valley, CA 92708

15) Hike in Laguna

Hiking is one of my favorite outdoor activities and I love to hike in Laguna with my friends. Last year, after it rained a lot, the hills were so pretty and green and the best time to go hiking.
