One Item Challenge

One item styled three different ways.

This item is definitely something that is a necessity in my closet, a silk slip mini dress. I have a black one, cheetah print one, and am currently on the look for a pink one. On top of that I have a really cute idea of how to incorporate a slip dress into a Halloween costume, but we will return to that come October.

The Original Elisabeth Dress

So this dress is technically a romper, but that makes it even better! It's very flirty and has a nice fit of fitted to flowy.

In this post, there are multiple options of an article of clothing/ accessory to give more variety of styles and price points of how I would style this romper-dress for certain things.

Everyday Look

You may be hitting the streets of Soho in New York City, or checking out Melrose in LA, whatever it is, this is the perfect outfit for the occasion. I can see myself wearing this to all of those LA day trips that my friends and I take. This outfit is fun, flirty, and edgy all at the same time. Rompers are honestly so great because you don't have to worry about it flying up like a dress might do and you don't have to fidget with it all day.

A belt bag is a really great bag to have when you want to keep your purse close.

These sneakers are some of my favorites of the moment.

Going Out

The best thing is having a look that you can take from daytime to night with the change of a jacket and some shoes. I personally love leather jackets for going out because of their look and it brings such a cool girl vibe. I love heels, but not too high. I want to be able to walk for the whole night and make sure my feet aren't killing me after an hour. Therefore, these heels and sandals are perfect for the long night. You could also swap out the heels for sneakers to have a more casual and comfy look out.

Beach Vibes (aka The Hamptons, Big Sur, etc.)

I love going to the beach, but when it's cold and windy, you want to dress for the weather. Cardigans and dad sandals are very trendy lately and give me big beach vibes. This look is great for someone looking for a comfortable look for by the beach. I love how in the Hamptons and even Northern California, there are a lot of gardens and nature that connect with the ocean, and this look would be perfect for both.
