I am a lover of gold jewelry. But here's a little background for you. Growing up my mom always wore silver so I thought that silver was the best color for me as well. I don't know why, but I thought that gold jewelry was just not for me. However, as I got older and I saw more and more people wearing gold and how well it worked as a summer jewelry accessory, I started to welcome it with open arms. I began to find that gold jewelry was definitely more my color because I felt that silver made me feel pale, but gold made me like one of those makeup golden goddesses you see in the commercials. Now it's basically the only jewelry color I wear. (I'm not a big rose gold person either.) Plus I live in Southern California, it's always warm here and most people stay tan all year round. I'm an exception.
